Here's my latest update, Google analytics is now working on both my web pages and on this blog. I guess I did screw up when I tried to first setup the script code on the Google Page Creator web page.
So to wrap this up, I pasted the script code provided by Google Analytics into the footer section of the page created by Google Page Creator.
I did pose the question about about weather I should use one or two accounts to track data on my blog and web pages to Ward Tongen, my SEO SEM budy. Guess we'll wait and see if he makes another comment here and answers my question. Well Ward??

Hi. I tried pasting the google analytics tracking code into my google creator homepage in the footer section but it still says it's not picking up tracking... Do you have any other ideas? Thanks
In order to get Google Analytics to work in my Google created homepage, I pasted the code in the footer. From what I remember, it didn't work the first time. When I saved it and then reopened the page the code was gone. I've noticed the same thing happen when trying to add my right navigation script. Weird. Anyways, I believe the problem was that there isn't any text to save/render in the section so Google Page Creator ignores your script tag. I ended up putting a paragraph in the footer first, then clicking edit HTML and pasting in the script tag after the paragraph of text.
This has seemed to work both times for the right navigation and analytics script.
To wrap this up, make sure you have some text saved in the editable area before you paste in the analytics code.
Hi thanks. Saving and re-opening is what eventually made it work on mine also.
